How can I help?

The Torah tells us that the artisan, Bezalel, who was in charge of building the mishkan (moveable temple in the wilderness) was an artist that was so connected with the Divine that he was filled with chochmah (wisdom), binah (understanding) and dah-aht (integrated knowledge). The Torah goes on to tell us that everyone whose heart was moved to do so should bring something. And after lots of giving, people were filled with so much love and so much desire to give, that finally the builders had to say, "stop", thank you, that's enough...

So... call up your inner Bezalel, your inner chochmah, binah and dah-aht. Here's some ways you can help:

  • Arrive early to help set up.
  • Stay till the end to help with clean up.
  • Help us organize community events. (See the calendar page for all the cool stuff we're planning.)
  • Sponsor a kiddush lunch on a Shabbat for the community in memory or in honor of someone you love.
  • Donate to the Torah fund. (We have been given a Torah!!!! Amazing and Awesome gift!!! and your donations help pay for the insurance.)
  • Do you sew? Or sing? Or are you a musician or an artist?
  • Donate to the Books fund.
Donate a Siddur to the community with a contribution of  $40.
Donate a Chumash  to the community with a contribution of$50.
  • Donate to the Cool Stuff fund. (Help us do lots of cool stuff!)
  • Donate to the kids fund so that we can provide programming for teenagers one day a week.

For donations, please head over to the donations page.
